Drake pays tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala and plays the late singer’s hit songs on his radio show

New Delhi: Canadian singer-rapper Drake, who recently released his album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, paid tribute to slain Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala during the first episode of his radio show ‘Table for One’ as he played the numbers at success of the latter in the show, reports ‘HipHopNMore’.

According to ‘HipHopNMore’, Drake performed Moosewala’s hit singles ‘295’ and ‘G-Sh*t’ on the show. “295” recently entered the Billboard Global 200 chart and took No. 3 on YouTube’s Global Music Video Chart.

Several social media users praised Drake’s gesture and paid tribute to him for his tribute to the late singer.

Another user tweeted, “The reach was global for Sidhu Moosewala, Drake playing 295 and G Class on his program table for a while ahead of his new album release.”

Previously, Drake, who follows Sidhu Moose Wala on Instagram, shared the rapper’s photo on the social media handle and captioned it “RIP Moose.”

Fans of singer Sidhu Moose Wala have praised Drake for his gesture. The singer-turned-actor and politician was killed by gangsters on May 29 in Jawahar Ke village in Mansa district of Punjab. The incident came a day after the Punjab Police Department withdrew protection from 424 people including Sidhu Moose Wala.
