‘Zombie’ composer Fabio Frizzi performs a special show at the Coolidge Corner Theater in September

After winning a Swedish Grammis Award earlier this year for their critically acclaimed latest album Where darkness becomes sound (2021), Tribulation is now back with a new standalone single and video for “Hamartia”.

A first recording with a new guitarist Joseph Thal“Hamartia” was recorded with Robert Pehrssonmixed by Tom Dalgety (which previously mixed Where darkness becomes sound), mastered by Magnus Lindberg and comes with artwork from the Tribulation guitarist Adam Zaars.

“It’s a song about the many nuances of the word Hamartia,” said Adam Zaars of Tribulation. “It’s a sonic angry gothic tragedy and features Joseph on guitar. This is the first of a few. We hope you like it!”

The video was directed by Johan Bååth & Astrid Bergdahl.
