Annie Award-winning composer Kevin Kiner has also been honored with multiple Emmy and other Annie nominations, and has won 20 BMI Film & TV Awards, making him one of the most versatile composers and Hollywood’s most wanted. For over a decade, Kiner has been able to work with some of the best geek storytellers. Kiner worked with George Lucas and Dave Filoni, Kevin scored all seven seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Warswhich earned him the 2021 Annie Award for “Best Music/Media Television” for the series finale episode “Victory and Death,” as well as a Primetime Emmy nomination.

No stranger to the superhero genre, Kiner has a varied list of credits. You’ve heard his work on HBO Max Peacemaker, by Netflix Narcos: MexicoHBO Max titans, and Doom Patrol. Samaritan will be launched globally on Prime Video on August 26. The story centers on 13-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon “Wanna” Walton), who suspects that his mysterious and reclusive neighbor, Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone) is actually a legend hidden in plain sight. Twenty-five years ago, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante, Samaritan, was pronounced dead after a fiery battle in a warehouse with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe Samaritan perished in the fire, but some in town, like Sam, hope he is still alive. With the city on the brink of chaos, Sam makes it his mission to bring his neighbor out of hiding.
